Temporary and Sitter Services

Finding a consistent and reliable supply of mature and experienced sitters can be difficult! The Babies to Boomers sitter service is designed to help parents who are in need of a reliable source of child care on an occasional or temporary basis. Whether you want to enjoy a night out, run some errands, or find back up care for a sick child, we are here to help you.

All of our sitters have gone through the same intensive screening process that our full time caregivers have gone through, and meet the following criteria:

At least two years child care experience, or professional training
18 years or older
High school graduate (most have secondary education)
Personal interviews
Reference checks
Criminal, sexual offender, and DMV background checks
Have undergone CPR and First Aid training

Babies to Boomers Business Hours:

Weekdays from 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
We check messages regularly after hours and we will do everything we can to accommodate your needs!

Fees:

Agency fee:

$20 per day/evening

$25 per day for sick care

15% of Caregiver's rate for overnight care (minimum $20)

15% of Caregiver's rate for temporary care (under 1 month, minimum of $100)

Caregiver fees (minimum):

$12/hr for 1 child

$14/hr for 2-3 children

$16/hr for 4 children

$18/hr for 5 children

If 6 or more children need care, two or more caregivers will be required.

If you are requesting sick care please add an additional $3.00 per hour.

Holiday rates start at $25 per hour

Tipping on a job well done is always appreciated!

Payment Policies:

There is a 4 hour minimum on all services
Any parking fees are to be paid by client
A credit card is required for agency services and will be charged when we have confirmed a caregiver for you.

Babysitter Reservations:

Please give us as much advance notice as possible. We will do our best to fill your last minute requests, but we recommend at least 48 hour notice when possible. You are welcome to use our online form, or call us at 802-540-0433.

Cancellation Policy:

The agency fee is non-refundable. 48 hour notice must be given for cancellations or the client is billed the 4 hour caregiver minimum charge and the agency fee.
